Facial lipograft
Nowadays, it is possible to combat the natural ageing of the face by using the patient’s own fat. We are talking about Facial Lipoenxerto or Facial Bioplasty, a small surgical procedure – without cuts or scars – which allows modelling and rejuvenating the face, which, with the passing of the years, is losing volume and acquiring wrinkles.
Initially, adipose tissue is suctioned from the patient himself (from a region previously agreed upon between the patient and the surgeon) and, after being properly treated, it is applied to the face using extremely thin cannulas.
Through this technique it is also possible to soften and smooth lines and wrinkles, as well as improve facial features or imperfections of the face (such as scars, for example).
Lips, nose, chin, jaw and cheeks are some of the most requested areas for correction through facial lipografting.
