Liposuction of the Double Chin
We talk about double chin, also known as jowls, when there is the appearance of subcutaneous fat between the chin and the neck. To correct this deformity, we resort to liposuction techniques, with aspiration of excess fat from this region. Through this simple technique, the face is consequently more defined and elegant.
Liposuction of the double chin helps to reduce flaccidity of the neck, since it stimulates the formation of collagen and retracts the skin in the region. This treatment is not recommended for patients with too much fat and/or with very lax skin.
