Liposuction and Bodytite

One of the most popular surgeries worldwide, Liposuction is often sought to eliminate localized fat and to model the body’s silhouette.

Using millimeter-sized holes, a cannula is inserted to aspirate the fatty tissue in the desired region that often does not disappear through diet and exercise.

Once the fat cells (the cells that store fat) have been removed, the fat will not be re-deposited in the area removed, but will be distributed to other areas of the body (unless there is significant weight gain after the liposuction procedure).

Another positive point of this intervention is the possibility of associating it with Lipofilling, that is, to reuse the fat removed to give volume to another area of the body or to correct some existing imperfections.

Main intervention areas of a Liposuction:

  • Abdomen
  • Flanks
  • Back
  • Thighs
  • Arms
  • Jowls
  • Inner side of the thighs

  • To perform this procedure, it is fundamental that there is no excess skin flaccidity, otherwise the skin will not readapt to the new contours. In this case, it may be necessary to combine another surgery to remove the excess skin.

During the post-surgery period, it is crucial to wear a girdle for at least 2 months and to have lymphatic drainage performed by a specialized professional. The result of liposuction begins to appear in the first / second month. However, the final result is only obtained after approximately 6 months.

    Bodytite

Bodytite is a recent technology, often used in conjunction with liposuction, that improves flaccidity with faster recovery time and immediate results. Through the RFAL (radiofrequency assisted lipolysis) system, it is possible to eliminate localized fat in the same way as conventional liposuction, besides causing a strong effect of skin retraction in the same region.
